In
1966, Salvador Hinojosa, founder of what is now known as H&H
Foods, and father of the current executive management, took an
aggressive step with exemplary vision. With a sales volume of slightly
over $2.5 million and twenty-five (25) employees he borrowed $378,000
from the bank with a SBA Guaranty of 90%. The loan was to relocate the
company to Expressway 83, outside the city limits of Mercedes, Texas.

Under the leadership and vision of his
sons, Liborio, Ruben, René and Jaime, the four brothers mobilized
the entire company for growth since the early ’70’s until
the present day. The third generation is now in place in mid-level management
positions and is being groomed to assume the leadership reins after the
turn of the 21st Century. |
