| H&H
Meat Products, Inc., d/b/a H&H Foods is
a family-owned and closely-held Texas Corporation. The company is a USDA
Inspected Facility and is owned by the Hinojosa family; it has operated
successfully as a meat packing plant since it was founded in 1947. H&H
Foods has experienced a progressive transformation from a small beef
slaughtering operation in the early years into a multi-faceted and multi-million
dollar packaging and value-added food processing operation.
H&H Foods has grown and diversified into a nationally honored and recognized enterprise. Twice it has been given National recognition by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Small Business Administration as the #1 Minority Business Enterprises in the United States. The company has positioned itself on the cutting edge of technology from the production to distribution of its quality meats and prepared foods. The Texas Department of Human Services stated that "H&H Foods is the largest committed processor to school districts in the State of Texas for the 1996-97 school year". H&H Foods has earned the distinguished reputation of high respect for its quality meat products and value-added Mexican Specialty Products for the food-service and retail markets. These accolades are well deserved, for H&H Foods’ personnel are always undergoing new technology training. Company policy stresses the importance of it’s employees participation in an "On-Going" Cross-Training to ensure excellence of productivity to remain in an "ever-ready" state of competence. Management takes pride in its quality products and in the incorporation of the HACCP (Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Point) system into H&H Foods’ food production lines. |
